


CASTING IN THE FOUNDRY
Learn the materials, processes and techniques used to safely produce finished cast-metal sculpture. Students create waxes through plaster mold-making and direct wax fabrication. Spruing, ceramic shell investment, pouring, metal finishing and patina techniques are taught. Both beginning and more advanced students cast their own work. The cost for metals and investments used during this course are in addition to the listed material fee.
