DRAWING TOOLS & METHODS

This course will focus primarily on drawing tools, materials (dry & wet) and surfaces. Some of the tools and materials are old and traditional while others are newly developed and manufactured. Drawing is fundamental to human communication that predates written language. It was first used to inform, note observations and as a visual planning method from which things are built or visuals presented in a final form such as painting, sculpture, or drawing.
