Learn the materials, processes and techniques used to safely produce finished cast-metal sculpture. Students create waxes through plaster mold-making and direct wax fabrication. Spruing, ceramic shell investment, pouring, metal finishing and patina techniques are taught. Both beginning and more advanced students cast their own work.
