Make Your Own Baseball Caps
Do you have a passion for streetwear and putting your own spin on your accessories? Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own hats? We're not talking fedora or cowboy hats, but the staple street-style 5 panel hat. This course takes this everyday item and lets you showcase your personality.
In this course, students will learn the process of making a lined 5-panel hat. We will cover fabric types and general uses, the process of silk screening, cutting bias tape, how to use a sewing machine and different feet, proper pressing techniques, how to build custom sweatbands, how to build their own stitching awl and basic
hand-sewing techniques. Students will leave the class with the knowledge to fabricate their own hats, at last two 5-panel hats.
