Have you ever read a book and visualized how it would
look on the big screen? Students will generate an idea for
a movie, video game or an animated series and create visual
representations that ”bring their vision to life.” Students
will design characters, sets, props, environments and visual
effects that will help tell their story.
This is a good concentration if you love movies, video games and
cartoons. Visualize other worlds and believe in make believe.
Each week the students will be exploring a different aspect of Concept Design. Week 1 will focus on Character & Prop Design. Week 2 will be all about Environment & Architecture. The final week will bring your character & environment design together into a final keyframe composition..
