FASHION ILLUSTRATION ONLINE - AGRC 213 OA
This course focuses on the drawing experience with an intensive investigation of the figure. Students focus initially on mark making and the application of various tools and techniques in order to explore movement, gesture, shape, and the importance of the awareness of proportion.
Building basic skills in observation, visual expression, organization and representational forms, students will focus on the meaning and the power of an image, using a variety of drawing/painting/collage/digital techniques with the goal of evolving their own individual aesthetic and ability to communicate their design ideas. We will look at Fashion Design and Fashion Illustration images, historical through present.
