About the instructor: Shawna McGee is a successful womenswear designer/fashion illustrator originally from Detroit, Michigan. Also a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City. She has designed for some of the largest American brands such as Anne Klein, Liz Claiborne and Ralph Lauren. Shawna was previously a fashion design professor at Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design. She currently resides in Détroit where she has developed her own collection of silk kimonos and scarves called S McGee Collection.
